Put 250 solid curvy miles on today and its not a RC51 but its def one of the funnest bikes I have ever rode. shifting is optional. sips gas and doesn't hurt my wrists at all. not to mention it is def the loudest thing other then taters whore of a ex wife I have ever ridden

No matter how heavy I was on the throttle, I was always between 45-50mpg with mine... Mine was the long version which had a 2/3 gallon or so more in the tank and I was looking for a gas station every 180 or so miles... Most I ever went was almost 230 and I think I could have gone another 20 before being stuck.

And it's a breeze to work on, requires near nothing for maintenance, gets a lot of attention at the gas station, etc, etc... It's a damn shame that Buell went under and most people never gave these rigs an honest chance... If I had the cheddah, I'd have another one in my garage right now...

That's not a bad bit of range.

Agreed. If I had the spare cash, I know of a clean XB12Scg for a decent price that I'd love to get my hands on. I like the looks of that bike quite a bit. Sadly, school takes all my loot.
