To each there own. I think it does kinda give off that "Custom TV's in the Head rest" vibe that I'm not to big on, but shit It is something a lot of people use while riding.

Right you are. I would love to laugh my ass off at seeing someone texting while riding. That has to be a joke in his ad. I mean seriously Texting? BUUUUUT I do like the mp3 aspect of it. And maybe even the calls if you do that but Again, Not for me.
Now show the pic of your trailer you pull behind that chopper with the 12" subs and amp you have...

I've snapped off a Text at a Stoplight...But never actually done it while riding...And I picked up my phone ONCE in Philly...And I screamed "I'm in philly Ill call you back" and hung up...Other than that...Leave me the fuck alone. When I go out for rides to no where and people text me there like angry that I dont respond...I get the "Hey whats up" text then like 10 15 mins later there like "Where are you?" then again its like actualy anger...I'm like jesus people I ride a Fucking motorcycle...Maybe I'm on it??!!

Very good call. Another good reason this things isnt a bad idea! Now if it were a tiny one handed keyboard holder just for texting, I would have a problem with it.

My radar mount has a second mounting space for whatever. In the 14 years I've owned it I've used it for cell phones,mp3 players,my gps,a camcorder, even a cd player. I gave up on answering calls while riding mostly because the sound quality isn't very good and bad cell reception/inaudible calls send me off the deep end instantly! I've been considering getting a bluetooth intercom system to hook my radar and gps (which also holds a 4 gig sd card for music) which will make me wireless and make it possible for me to take calls while riding. I doubt that I will do it though. I like the solitude and the music my bike makes while I ride better than any cd I own.

I have no issue with those that listen to music on long rides... as long as they have the riding experience to go with the added distraction. But, it's those that come to the track and demand to be able to ride with music at the track....
