I'm not much for thin crust but fresh basil on a pizza rocks. I make one on the grill using chicken Italian sausage and I always put fresh basil on there.

LOL - for some reason, I just read your post in Arnold Schwarzenaeger's (sp?) voice, as if he were saying "Who is your daddy, and what does he do?"

Store-bought never seems to last - will buy it no sonner than within a couple of days of intending to use it. During the warmer months, we usually buy a couple of basil plants and just pull the leaves off the plant when needed. Not only fresh but cheaper than the store.
