Well cellular internet has just started to take off in the US. The few I know are addicted to WoW and EVE online and I dont know if the cellular bandwidth is enough to run that or not.

You should have seen some shit I saw today at work. When I get to work they tell me to head out on a cut cable that was aerial. I figured they mean a car smacked hte pole which happens often.

Anyways, when I get out there, we notice that the pole is fine and we knew the whole thing was aerial so there was no underground cable to cut. No one knew what was going on. I noticed it was a new green pole and that it had hook marks on it. It was right next to the road so power, cable, and phone had easy access with a truck. Then we notice a trench line.

Some fucker took some copper cable and buried it to his house. He then ran it up the telephone pole and cleated it like we would have. And then tried to splice it into fiberoptic. Damn, man. With climbing skills he could get a job at AT&T. If he coudl figure out the difference between copper and fiber.

Exactly. I could understand the "theft" line if the guy was paying for a certain amount of bandwidth, or MB downloaded or some other shit, but nothing in this town charges like that.

I don't know about down there, but up here I've got a monthly bandwidth limit and I pay if I go over it.
