I have been prety lucky in that ankle and wrist sprains from football limited me a bit but thats been it.
Last year I was working at the construction site and got a call for a man down so while responding to him one of the safety guys ran over my foot in a pick up truck, of course its my shifting foot. And I had track day the next day. It was sore that day but felt fine when i woke up in the morning so all was good. Tom |

I broke my collar bone, that kept me off the bike for almost a month, and another 2 weeks before I could do anything other than a very short trip.
Broke my hand earlier this year, wore a cast for 2 weeks then drove down to deals gap to meet a bunch of idiots and did a little riding there. The other day I got a paper cut that hurt pretty bad, and made me suck on the skin where I got the cut until it stopped hurting enough to wear my gloves. I had my balls snipped a few years ago and that took almost a month before I was brave enough to ride the bike before the stiches were fully disolved.

I crashed and put the head of my femur through the back of my hip socket....didn't walk for 3 months....didn't walk without a limp for another 3 months or so after that. I crashed in November....I was back on the bike the following April. It was my right hip so getting on and off the bike was a chore...but wasn't too bad once I was on and riding.

I shattered my pelvis once. That kept me off the bike for a while.

I'm going to have to have knee surgery before long, I can ride now but it's painful but at least I can ride, hopefully I can recuperate pretty quick and get back on the bike soon after. Ideally I would like to have mine scheduled in December so I am 100% by the good weather riding season(I ride year round)
