I rode the Natchez Trace once. Very pretty, but a cruising kind of ride. And that's OK. This will get you started. There are some fine two wheeled roads in the state... http://www.motorcycleroads.com/route...S/MS_index.htm |

Indeed, Northern Arkansas is suhweet. Annually I try to ride the Ozarks. Started when I would call on Wal*Mart in Bentonville in the 90's and once a year would fly to Dallas, rent a bike, ride up to AR, make the visit, then RIDE. On occasion would continue on to TN, then MS, LA, and return to Dallas.

Yes, familiar with the Iron Horse. Great choice.
As you look at this map of the area... http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=...,0.556183&z=11 seriously, you could go any direction and enjoy fine roads. I would point your wheels south, maybe slightly to the east however at least one, if not both days. These are empty, twisty roads. By heading west towards Rogers, Springdale, etc. you'll run into traffic. Same for heading north and east towards Missouri, and Table Rock Lake/Branson. Nice roads but you will be sharing it more often. |
