Doesn't meant someone couldn't have put hardwoods in at some point. My 10 year old boring suburb house has real hardwood.

I love hard floors. Just have to get one of those shaggy sweepers, push everything into one spot, vacuum up and done.

Carpet is nasty. Sure its nice when its new but its just a crud collector.

Kinda my thinking too.
I keep looking at houses online and at least half of them I rule out due to having too much carpet that I'd have to rip out and replace with laminate or tile.
Having a dog has given me a whole new loathing for carpet and what it takes to get dog fur out of it.
