I learned that 5hrs sleep makes for a long-ass work day. I've only been here 2+ hrs and all I really want to do is go home and get in bed.

I learned that I have more PTO left for this year than I thought so I am leaving early to go see a movie with my buddies today.

I can beat that....25,000 associates in 387 locations nationwide 2 years ago. Now down to 3500 people in 87 locations...I say a little thank you every month my paycheck arrives.

I learned:

Hawaii has unparalleled natural beauty.
The locals dislike tourists and are quite rude, at least here on Maui.
Hawaii has only been a state since 1959. I didn't realize in my parent's lifetime the US was made up of less than 50 states.

I learned my manager wants us to be more healthy by taking all our chairs away and have us stand in one place 8 hours a day. He feels that sitting is bad for you and you'll be much healthier rooted to one spot.

I know my feet and ankles will say something different.

I learned I like my friends

I also learned I need more friends that can get off mid-week to play at the track...

I learned today at the Bodies Exhibition that if you stand too long on one spot it can prevent the blood from returning to your heart. Tell that to your dumbass manager.
