I dont know why but I hate talking on the phone to people so I text mostly. Even at work, id rather walk to someones office and ask them a question face to face than call their extension.

I hate talking on the phone, period. So I text. Quite honestly, there are very few people I want to speak with face to face either.

Yep. texting just works better for me. I DESPISE talking on the phone. with a PASSION. some people I just wanna ignore completely.

if I had it my way, everything would translate to a text message, I hate phone convos THAT much.

Our iphones were great when we went to Italy this summer. Didn't have to bring a laptop at all and could upload pictures directly to facebook for friends/family to see. Just have to disable roaming/data so you don't pay an obscene amount per KB.

I like having the pervasive App Store. 100,000 apps that do everything you can imagine.

Side-kick... yea I know you can use it for a phone but who does? US Cellular sells a text only plan, btw. My old phone did "speech to text" which was nice, I guess you could get an air card and text from your net book...
