I pay just over $100 for two phones that never go over minutes, no texting, unlimited data on a fucking awesome LTE network. Just looked up the price difference and the sprint version is like $40 more a month. Oh and my wife's work pays for half, so it's more like $50 a month...

:P
Hey you're cheating.

$50/month though, may be worth giving it up.
We're all losing unlimited data anyways. Vz announced that starting this summer, any plan change or phone upgrade you will be forced to select a new data plan.

You don't have to lose it, you just have to pay full price for a phone to keep it.

I'd been hearing rumors to this effect....but hoped it wasn't true.

So much for "grandfathering", I guess...they must have a good lobby in Congress....it's now time for a full fledged bait and switch money grabbing free for all.

I just cancelled my Verizon phone. Only reason I kept it was to upgrade to 4G this fall and wreck shit with unlimited data... No unlimited data anymore, doesn't make sense to keep my phone... especially when I have a free one from work.

You don't have to lose unlimited, just pay full price for the phone and you don't lose it. If you keep your phone for a few months, you can sell it for almost full price and buy the next new hotness at full price. By the time 2 years rolls around, you will have only lost as much as it costs at 2 year price.

Work the system bitches.

I was starting a new contract, so went with the plan. Turns out we are paying less now than we were with tmobile.

I'm with ya... I don't want to pay $700 for my iphone, and I love that thing.

My Droid X worked almost flawlessly until this month. I got the phone 7/15/10. I swear I hit my 2 year with the phone and Verizon started sending "FUCK UP" signals to it. Internet started freezing alot, especially on this site. Aplications and programs started freezing up like it never had before. I swear its some shady ass shit that they are doing.

My buddy had an almost brand new Droid Bionic that he had laying around when he upgraded to the Razr Maxx last week. He owes me a bit of money so he gave me it for free. Holy crap, dual core and 4G is so much more crisp. So I got a new phone and got to keep unlimited 4G for free!
