Tough call. i've had a really cool cat. he'd play fetch, box, and was affectionate.

now we have dogs, their fun, the poodle is a complete chick magnet. the boxer scares people away from the house.

i guess i'd take dogs but only by a slim margin.

He'd give up his last breath to get a pat on the head from you... a dog is a best friend and partner. Heck, dogs have even been known to get guys laid!!!
Holy. Fucking. Shit. Tigger gets the gold star today.

My dog rules. Cats suck.

He did pretty much cover it for me too as far as why I've had dogs most of my life.

Fixed! Friggin' dog owners are almost as inconsiderate as breeders, I swear... My neighbor has a dog that barks every time I go into the yard... He's a good 500 feet away- I can't even see his house from my yard! But I sure as hell can hear that dog

Our cats greet us when we come home, they just aren't barking and jumping around like idiots... But i guarantee that every night when i come home there's a little tabby face looking at me through the blinds, and at least one other cat laying by the door waiting for me.

My Phedrekitteh comes to hang out with me every night, and will walk around my chair squeaking pitifully if i ignore her too long. I wouldn't trade her for a dog that cleaned the house and cooked gourmet meals.

If you find any pet that cleans the house and cooks gourmet meals you let me know. I'll pick that sucker up.

My younger cat will run to the window when he hears a car door close to see who it is. He recognizes mine, my husband's and my roommate's cars and will sit there and chatter at us from three stories up. It's so cute.

If the patio door is open he'll just straight up yell at us from the pation until we get into the house.

At least the smell is outside and not in my house. There is no dog shit in my yard. The dog shit's, it gets picked up immediately.

My dog doesn't bark. He growls if he hears a noise. Something you can't hear if you are more than 20 feet away. I'll agree that incessant barking is rude, but I've trained my dog not to bark.

Another great thing about dogs.. they love kids. My cats hate kids. They hide when my kids are home. The dog is playing with the kids almost constantly.
