I got married, and you wouldn't believe how much time I spend traveling for work. My bike has needed a chain since the middle of last season. Finally got the chain in and my wife is telling me to go for a ride - do anything except work myself into the ground.

So - I just got an email saying that the Indy GP is August 10 and my bike needs a good long run. Search reveals no recent Indy threads. Any interest?

There is a shop that sells them about 25 minutes from my house. I don't see that bringing me the excitement of my R6 or that of my Jeep.

I miss my bike but I'm loving the Jeep. Feeling the wind through my eyebrows is an amazing thing.

I put some new rubber on it last weekend. I put on some Goodyear Duratrac's.

I love the duratracs on my pickup. Not going to get the life I was hoping, but nothing aggressive lasts on a heavy diesel.

I was running Hankook Dyna Pro ATMs on my last Grand Cherokee. I loved them. I'll put them on my new grand when the current tires wear out.

How many miles do you have on them so far?

James

That's what I had on my pickup before the duratracks, loved them, but wanted something a bit more aggressive.
I got 49k out of them and they weren't completely gone, but hunting season started so I needed better rubber.

I have almost 8k on them. Went about 7k before rotating them and they measured out at 60% on the rears and 80% on the fronts. So if I rotated more regularly, figure 70% across the board.
That's looking like 30k on the high end. I was hoping for 40k, but we'll see.

Most of those miles are either hunting/off road/winter driving, or pulling my 10k+ 5th wheel, so not easy miles.

Love the traction, and I'll run them again, but I'm looking for a second set of wheels and tires to run in the summer pulling the camper.
