With Torrents nowadays, I'm not sure who would pay for movies.
The screeners are the best ones to find; they are typically the exact thing you will see in theaters. The editor versions can sometimes be lacking. I remember watching the original Matrix movie that was an editor copy just a few days after I saw it in the theater. It just wasn't the same; for example, in the beginning when the crew of people talks Neo into coming out to the bar, when they are in the bar and everyone is dancing, there is no music playing and you can hear all of the people's feet shuffling around.

When online bootlegs were still kind of new I used to download them but eventually I realized that if its a movie I really want to see Id much rather see it in the movies anyway rather than a crappy screener or handheld on my computer. If its a movie I dont really care about then I dont mind waiting until the DVD/BluRay-rip's come out with better video or sound.

You should see the copy of Wolverine that I have. The end fight scene is still in computer animated form along with a few other scenes. I saw it like a month before it was in theaters though. :P

I've seen it - lots of CGI framework with no textures.

Actually, it stands for Hank, which is the short version of Henry, which, when you think about it, makes no sense at all. If you wanted a kid named Hank, why not just name the fucker Hank, and be done with it?

It's a conundrum, wrapped in paper towels and lighter fluid.

I've seen Tropic Thunder but it WAS in theaters and I managed to find the one streaming site where some dude in Thailand filmed it off his armrest.

Other than that, I just download the torrent. I buy what movies I LIKE which has steadily grown to almost none since completing my awesome 80s action movie collection.

It's in my 'to watch' stack....somewhere near the very bottom.
