California, baby!!!

You can ride the desert to the mountain to the beach in a few hours, not to mention being able to legally share lane.

Yep...it's pretty decent around here but Cali would be my first pic...NOT to live but to ride.

"Central coast" - Southern California. Great weather, awesome roads, you can ride from beach to mountains in 10 minutes. Plus, central coast has really mild traffic...highway 33 has VERY few cars and I have never seen a cop up there.

Of course I have only ever ridden in California so I have nothing to compare it too!

Yea but the rst of us don't "need" to be able to share lanes for the most part. I know you don't here in N.C.

You girls are far too nice.

There are lots of great places to ride. However, in my humble opinion, I'll opine on the popular ones I've seen.

There's alot more that goes into a great riding state than just the road. Taffic plays a huge part of it for me, so bear that in mind.

Texas Hill Country. Little traffic every time I've been there. GREAT riding!

Calfornia Pacific Coast Highway. Suck. TOO much traffic, too many RVs, too much wind. The road and the views are amazing, but to actually *ride* and enjoy, not so much. I recommend central California over towards Nevada personally if you're stuck on California.

Upstate New York through the Adirondacks. MUST SEE riding up there.

Believe it or not, I haven't ridden through the Gap in North Carolina, so I must reserve judgement.

Northern Georgia. Beautiful roads. Beautiful scenery. Not too much traffic to get in the way.

The ringer of the bunch. Vermont and New Hampshire. Amazing.

Hands down, my favorite area I've ever ridden in, has to be Nova Scotia, on the eastern shore in Cape Breton. Amazing. I've never seen anyplace like it in my life. I love it there.
