My network is titled "Don't bother, it's secured." Help me pick a new name!
This is a dick move. The basketball courts at the high school near me aren't open to the public, and all the parks are too far to let a kid go to alone from my house. Also, I'd like my kid close to the house in case he gets hurt. I'd be double pissed about this if it happened to me. My house flooded because the county couldn't manage the drainage. Coming to fuck with a basketball hoop at my house when they can't maintain public utilities would make me blow my stack. And I can stand on my lawn and say whatever I want, I live on county land. I'm also legal to open carry on my lawn.

The hoop is illegal. Put it so you can play in the driveway.

Most likely. My driveway slopes, you can't play basketball on it.

lay a slab in the backyard or buy a house with a flat driveway. The street is not your basketball court or property, so these people can't complain when the law is actually enforced.
