How can a dog have so much stamina?

Here are mine...

Puppies:

Female Black/Chocolate Lab Mix - Dakota:


Male Yellow Lab Mix (German Shepard mix I think) - Scooby:


Now:


They're about 5-6 years old now.

We picked up Dakota free from a farmer who had an accidental working dog/family dog pregnancy. Her mother was a working black lab that herded cattle. Her father was the family pet, a chocolate lab.

Scooby was an animal shelter rescue. The shelter picked up his stray mother, who was a pregnant yellow lab. Their best guess was that the father was a German Shepard.

They have both been through extensive obedience classes. Dakota is one class away from being a registered therapy dog. They are both very well behaved.

I feed our dogs natures balance and blue buffalo venison.

and make sure you get a food grinder. If your dogs aren't used to chewing bone in raw, they will choke.

I swear, Leon's mom''s weimeraner is more active, shiny coat, slimmed down, and his poop is cut in half.

Dogs are designed to handle the bones in raw foods.

It is only once cooked that the bones should be a danger.

Both my sister's dog and my parent's dog are on a raw food diet. They swear by it and I've never seen dogs so excited at meal time.

My boxer gets Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food.

make sure you add the vitamins and veggies to their food.

Sadie's diet was just altered - she's a purebred black lab. 12 years old, and needs to lose some weight - so we have her on a managed diet with her vet. She's 68lbs, has at least 5 to lose. I'd post pictures, but she's afraid of cameras Chicken Dog...

This is very interesting, I'm looking into the raw foods now and think I'm going to try it....Jethro works hard and deserves good food.

Any idea what I'd be looking at monthly for a 90lb male?
