Like I said they want to see how the store deals with it before they shop there again.
If it was an employee, and they find out who it was, they will fire him. There is no other possibility. There is zero chance that he would be allowed to stay. So why do we need to "see how they deal with it"?

If it was a customer, they will never find him. So again, why do we need to "see how they deal with it"? What could Wal-Mart possibly do?

You can be sure that they will fire him. I have seen worse where the person was transfered. And more then once.

They have cameras so they should be able to get an idea on who it was. If it was a customer there isn't much they can do but say it was a customer. If thewy seen the person again they could ban them but other then that they can't do to much.

That being said it is still their choice to wait to see how they handle it. If they are not happy with it they don't have to shop there. Simple as that.

So, you don't think a business should be responsible for who it hires?

How is a company with probably 500,000 workers going to ensure that it never hires anyone who likes to play practical jokes?

They are still 100% responsible for who they hire.
Don't like it? Don't open a business.

I understand that. But all they can do is fire him. Which they will. So there's no point in "demanding answers".

So by your logic, if an employee of Walmart comes in and wacks 30 people, the CEOs should go to jail as well? Crimmal and Civil are separate...and protected as such under most state laws. This of course is upheld if the buisness had no prior knowledge of a possible crime beforehand.

I don't see the big deal with this. Black people will get offended at anything and everything. Tough shit IMO. Suck it up, it has nothing to do with you personally.

And I wouldn't even rate this as a crime. There is a freedom of speech that if we didn't chew and spit out already, would still be in play.

Besides, next week all the black people who are going to "boycott" the Walmarts will have their asses back in Walmart lines. I'll bet on it.

I doubt people go into interviews revealing that they are racist.....

A woman and her friend who were in the store at the time made a statement to reporters that they are boycott the store until this is resolved (I repeat...TWO friends) and you guys are getting your outrage on.

some other reactions to the Walmart "controversy"

MASSIVE FRACKING UPDATE!!!!

I now know what was significant about the two ladies (Patricia Covington and Sheila Ellington) who said they were gonna boycott.

Quote:
Ellington, an attorney and member of the Gloucester County Minority Coalition, said that the incident was a clear bias crime.
...
Ellington said that she will not shop at the store until Wal-Mart changes its P.A. system, and a suspect - whether it is an employee or customer - is caught.
This isn't racial outrage
This lawyer + "I'm an upstanding member of the community"

She might as well be wearing a leopard print and rock a Jennifer Anniston haircut.
