kinda, you need to unbolt two bolts and the tank can be pivoted out of the way for the rear and for the front you need to undo two bolts that hold the oil cooler

once you get the tank up there are around 6 small screws that need to come off the airbox lid to give you more room, might be less if you are named Huang Chang and you have small hands and can get around it i had it off because i was modding the stock filters so it wasnt an issue

Does it burn up the plugs quick or what? Mine go bad b/c it's running rich as hell and needs a proper tuning.

The RC51 responds to spark plug changes more so than any other bike I have owned.
We have actually seen 1-2 hp gains from simply installing new plugs at 4000 mile intervals. & the increased throttle response can be detected even without a dyno. It is also important to know that you cannot gap the plugs on the RC due to the high probability of damaging the delicate iridium electrode |
