Better now. They have me off of the IV other than for antibiotics and morphine. I can talk again and ate for the first time since Thursday. I think I am headed home tomorrow morning, but will be on bedrest for the rest of the week.

No they didn't. I'd be down for too long to warrant taking them out unless absolutely necessary, although I'll probably look at doing it as soon as this semester is over. Haven't seen the doc yet this morning, but he should be by pretty soon.

I really really wish they would have taken mine out when I was younger. I had so many infections with my tonsils, they're now scarred to hell and back and twice the size as normal. Now when they swell when I have a sore throat it makes it extremely hard to swallow and I can't eat. I thank God it doesn't happen no more than once every couple of years or so. The docs have talked about pulling them but at my age, they don't want to. Something about it being more risky and recovery is alot worse.

Hope you hear good news for the doc this morning and they can let you out of that place!

YAY, no more 12 hour shifts. They put out today that full timers are off SAD, and back to their regular scheduled programming.

Maybe now I will have a chance to put the pics up

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doc just came by and said I can leave in an hour or so after they inject me with some more antibiotic. Still going to be stuck in bed a few days though.

Looks like I'm done on this forum for the day. 3 threads and I've got a headache.

I got el screwed on eBay. Won a Zune, received a piece of shit Insignia. Hopefully the seller will do right and either fix the problem or refund me the money. Throw in dropping my camera that I just got a few days ago and breaking it, and I'm on a roll today.
