I've ridden with you a couple of times now Thumper - I think you're being a little on the modest side.

If they ask, I usually tell em the truth & say the tires have some race laps on em... but sometimes I'll play it up a bit & either just give them a head nod as if to say "yeah, that's right... I'm fast" or say I shredded em on my favorite back roads

Over the past two years i have had tow riders go down while i was leading the group ride. Both had really worn out front tire and this most likely played a hufe factor in the crashes. |

Ended up sticking with it and rode maybe 8 to 10 rides with new riders this year including a ride last week with 9 riders. Of those 9 i think i had only ridden with maybe 2 or 3 of them before and maybe only once or twice. We had a good ride. Anyway i am Waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy of topic here and rambling. Hurry up spring...... |

Gettin back to the chicken strip issue. I am trying to figure out how to change the pegs on my KTM950SM as i am drggin the crap out of them before the chicken strips are all gone. I am looking at these, but they are not made for the KTM
http://www.mfw-wolf.de/en/products/m...nting-brackets I have tinkered with my wifes SV650S pegs and think i can buy a setup for the SV and make them work on the Katoom with a little work. I want to so the opposite of what was done on this thread where they lowered the pegs. http://www.twowheelfix.com/showthrea...363#post324363 |
