I can understand that, mine does the same but I can tolerate about 200 miles with minimal fuss but need to stop every 60 miles or so and stretch out, it's those 400 plus mile days that cripple me and have me wanting to add a sport tourer into my garage (FJR, Concourse, etc)

I can't stand it. So I just don't ride anymore.

Ya, last year I thought I'd get to the track. But never did. I spend my money on drums now a days.

The other part of it is I crashed that Buell a few years ago raging through the mountains by myself. I haven't rode the same since. Just no desire to rip anymore.

It's only slightly on the high side for the area. I'd say 1400-1800 is about average for full coverage on a sportbike in NS, NB, PEI.

Most people can only get facility insurance for sportbikes.

The reason it was going up is that I got a hefty speeding fine last year.

This is where I am....I grew out of the sportbike thing...If I still lived in Boston I'd have another one in a heartbeat as it's easy to get to New Hampshire/Vermont for some fun riding. But....I don't...and I likely won't for at least another 2 years.

I got the M109-R thinking it would still have the power I insist on...but some ability to cruise. It just doesn't...even with all the silly "cruise oriented" shit bolted on.

I really think I'll wind up on a Connie 14 in the Spring...black....it will be weird to not be on a Suzuki, though...it's been a long LONG time since I owned something other than a Suzuki. Just love the idea of the Connie...comfortable cruise...easy off bags for some twisty riding..plenty of power and performance....sign me up!

(That is unless I happened to fall in love with a GT....assuming I could swing a test ride. Just say'in. )

Damn, man....that is rough. Full coverage for the 109-R is $440/year.
