I hit "Play a DVD" and BOOM, I'm watching a movie! What, the movie is over and you want to watch cable? Okay, so you pick up the DVD remote and turn it off. Pick up the TV remote and put it on "Input 2". Pick up the receiver remote and put it on "Video 2". Pick up the Cable remote, turn it on and watch TV. I hit "Watch TV" and BOOM, I'm watching TV...ETC, ETC, ETC.... |

All it really shows is just how lazy you really are though. OMG, I can't do 3 tasks, it must be done in one.

No, it's laziness, because watching TV/Movies/Games is about the least efficient thing you can do.

Most new remotes can control more than one device. Especially if you have a high end satelite/cable box. So you can eliminate remotes that way without having to buy one. lol

Yea but they never run all of the functions you need! There is almost always one or two buttons that you wish you had.

Fuck, if it were up to you, we wouldn't have wheels! Most every invention was conceived to eliminate work to some degree. Shit, why have remotes at all? If you're trying to not be lazy, get off your fat ass and change the channel. If you're going to use a remote anyway, why not have one that does everything you need it to?

And none of the remotes that came with A/V pieces control ceiling fans, lighting, and thermostats. |
