Not at all, Spiderman #2 was probably the best. Dr Octopus was played very well.

X-Men 1 & 2 are must-sees as well (3 wasn't as good)

I mean seriously, how often are you at a cocktail party where your lack of knowledge about any of these ancient movies puts you at a disadvantage? Most of the movies on your list are way old, and aren't conversation material anymore. If anyone is going to talk about movies at a cocktail party, they're going to talk about recent ones.

100-200 movies is a lot of time to spend watching things just for the sole purpose of hoping that the knowledge gained from them is useful. I would think enjoyment and watching what you like should be just as important, if not more so.

Since when does choosing a movie to put on a list require consulting a dissertation? She wants to watch movies she's heard references to for years, be it in conversation or in today's movies; she's not doing it to rock Trivial Pursuit in 2011. What's so hard to understand about that?
