My guess is that he decided to use everything he knew that bothered me against me. He knows it pisses me off when people call me a whore, or assume I'm unfaithful, because I would never do that. no matter how unhappy I am. So he tells me I've been sucking lots of dick and fucking my ex (um, no). And also goes around telling me that ALL of my friends had been warning him I was a psychotic bitch. He only knows ONE of my friends, so I know it's all BS.

That's the problem. He wasn't an asshole in the beginning. I stopped dating assholes, that's how I got sucked into this one. He was all nice and romantic, etc. Turns out he is a friggin' sycophant. I tried to tell him that I didn't like someone who just yes'd me to death, and to have a spine and his own opinions and he flipped his shit.

The biggest issue I had with him before that was that he smothered me and didn't make me laugh. He was a bit of a moron, too, I came to learn. I can't be with someone who doesn't challenge me intellectually. He was just intellectually challenged.

Well, I've dated other guys in between. LOL. I was just comparing him to the abusive one.

I am friends with almost all of my exes. The only exception being the abusive one and now this one.

He is friends with none of his exes. I think that says something. I still talk to a few of mine on a regular basis and still hang out. My one friend even said to not bother blaming myself. He has seen how this guy acts around me, and was like, "Even at your worst, when we were together, you never did anything that would provoke a fraction of what he's doing."

My point was moving in w/ somebody you dont really have intentions of marrying is a bad idea. If you've gone down the long relationship road, and get real sweet on each other, thats another story. but from the sound of this story this chick didnt know this guy well AT ALL.

He's a sociopath, I thought I did know him. Moving in together was more a move of convenience that just came with the bonus of being with my SO, but if I thought he was like this I never would have DATED him, let alone lived with him.

Well, my mom came over and we called the cops.

Basically they slapped him around (figuratively) and had him stumbling over his tongue.

Cop: Does she live here?
Him: She used to.
Cop: Used to? She lives here or she lived here?
Him: Lived here.
Cop: When did she stop living here.
Him: Uhhh. Today?
Cop: Whose name is on the lease?
Me: Mine is the only signature on the lease.
Cop: So when did she get taken off the lease?
Him: I don't know, the landlord took her off.
Cop: He wouldn't do that. When did he tell you he did that?
Him: Uhhh, um, I don't know.
Cop: Did she get a letter? Did she sign anything?
Him: No. I don't know.
Cop: Who pays the rent?
Him: We all do.
Me: They give me their portions and I write the check. The utilities are all in my name.
Cop: So she pays the rent?
Him: She pays HER part!
Cop: So she paid for this month?
Him: Yeah..
Cop: So she lives here.

....

Me: He locked me out of the room when I tried to get my stuff
Cop: How is she supposed to get her stuff if you lock her out?
Him: Uhhh.
Cop: Whose room did he lock you out of? Yours or his?
Me: Ours.
Cop: So she pays rent and you locked her out of her bedroom? (looks around the living room where the only furniture is a few arm chairs) If you locked her out of the room, where was she supposed to sleep?
Him: There's an air mattress!
Cop: She pays rent here and you're telling me she has to sleep on an air mattress?

....

Him: She hit me! She slapped me in my chest!
Cop: I don't see any bruises...
Him: Well, it wasn't hard...
Cop: Why did she hit you?
Him: I don't know, I was just standing in front of her...
Cop: Why were you standing in front of her?
Him: We were having a verbal discussion
Cop: (laughs) A verbal discussion that required you to block her way?
Him: She kept walking away from me.
Cop: So you stood in front of her blocking her way and she hit you or pushed you to move?
Him: Well, um..

Basically, the cops told him I have at LEAST until the end of the month to get my things out. We took pictures of all my stuff, and the cops said that if he tried to keep me out he would personally come by and break down the door for me to get in.

He was a complete douche, even to the cops.

And as I was leaving gave me a sob story about, "i thought you'd know by now that I wouldn't do anything to hurt you or your things.."

"Yeah, well, I thought you also wouldn't go psycho and call me a whore and throw me on the street. So much for things we know." And I left.

Tomorrow my friend will help me get the rest of my stuff out. And I'll deal with the illegality of the "eviction" as well. If I want to, I can have him and the roomies thrown out and keep the place for myself. Seeing as how it's in MY name.

We'll see if I decide to be the better person or not...
