They are way faster than dirt bikes, and just as crazy. Except you have snow to land in.

sometimes the wannabe racers tear it all to hell and there's nothing left but dirt.

It was KPH and that was on tight technical trails that were mostly single track. Anywhere else is wide open.

Ok, I actually probably did. I dont tear up the trails, but absolutely everything else is fair game.

Not a sign to be seen anywhere on the NB trail system, and the booklet I got with my trail pass doesnt mention one. It does talk about speed in the 'safe riding' section, but doesnt give a speed limit.

The big thing here is alcohol. Everybody rides these things smashed, and every year, people die.
