I just joined really to get my body in better shape and to feel healthier. I joined with a friend so we can motivate each other when one is trying to slack off on not going or to get that last rep in instead of quitting.

But The only thing i dont like is that I know its going to take time to see results...other than that...I shoulda joined a gym years ago.

Oh and I prefer to run on a treadmill over out in the open.

I don't have the Vibrams but the Nike Free 5.0 and I love to wear them. They are like wearing slippers/socks. I've tried the Vibrams but haven't pulled the trigger to buy. A friend has them and likes them pretty well, not sure if I will.

You are nuts. I will only do the treadmill if I'm doing a speed workout or if I'm desperate for miles, but even then the weather has to be pretty shitty for me to not go out - I went out in rain and tornado warnings (they were about done). It was one of the best runs I had.

They warped and never wore the same.

Not trying that on shoes I can't afford to mess up.

I've started running again... going running tomorrow after PT.

I got a bit to go to get back to where I was... my 1.5 mile time is now in the mid 13 min mark... was low 10's was hoping to be at mid 9's by this time... but apparently my body felt like it needed to act 80.

hoping by September I can get back to a 5-6 mile jog with no issues

Just make sure you can do 3.5 miles with obstacles.

If my ass is in shape and can do it by then, you should have to suffer with me.

I want to do a 2 mile 1300 ft climb to 4900ft altitude and back by the warrior dash.

I'll be able to do it by then no issues... I could probably suffer through it now... it'd hurt like hell though

I want to be doing 20-25 miles a week by sept...
