Wikipedia says it was a toy pony that became a cartoon. Usually only girls are interested in ponies, so despite my habit of posting about "fashion", I don't think I qualify.

I do remember the "Kimba the White Lion" cartoon, but not this My Little Pony gheyness. Looks like any other generic toy animal.
