Nah, I was her first AF guy she'd met She was in Comm too so we worked together. We were loading up for a field exercise in that pic, I think it was early Aug and it was 130F every day we were out.

Nine years Army National Guard.
Currently Sgt E-5 MOS's held: 62B - Construction Equipment Mechanic 63B - Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic Soon I will be picking up (hopefully) 21B - Combat Engineer 21Y - Topigraphic Engineering Supervisor 42A - Human Resources Specialist 92Y - Unit Supply Specialist It will be determined by which full time job I manage to get. Served one activation with the 3662nd GSMC in Ft. Riley KS repairing equipment as it came back from Iraq. Transfered to the 142nd Engineer Batallion, The first ND unit in Iraq, in Oct 05 to get my E-5 promotion. That unit "went away" in Oct 06, and the 231st BSB was born. I am currently assigned to A Co. 231 MTF as their Motor Sergeant. I am working full time with them in prep for this deployment. I need to get a pic of me in ACU's. |

Army - been out almost 10 yrs now. My beret was earned, not issued.
(No offense to those that serve and are forced to wear it, not your call - and you probably find it worthless, too ) |

I love my soft cap and boonie... let those that earn the beret wear it... I don't want the fucker. Looks good with the A's, but like shit with the ACU's IMO. And besides, it's a combat uniform... why would you wear a beret to combat? |

Preach brutha. Speaking of the beret, I tried to get a cool colored one, I woumd up being a 24 day medical dropout. I pretty much decided that after that month I would never try again...

Right now I'm still in Japan. But, countdown to my next deployment is in 1.5 weeks.
