That's my thought exactly. Same with Fast Five.
Why ya gotta stereotype?!? Not ALL chicks dig love stories dude, thanks.

I spent my Sunday watching Dylan Dog (my choice) and Fast & Furious (our choice), NOT Water for Elephants like a bunch of the other wives did. If there's explosions and cool shit, I'm in. If there's crap like found in the Notebook, I'm taking a gun to shoot myself.

It would be different if it was funny.

It's a movie about the comic book superhero named Thor. Blasting, explosion, fights, Natalie Portman...more than good enough for me.
I didn't expect Oscar winning performances. I expected an action movie with a fun plot that is enjoyable. Basically a fun to watch garbage movie, not something that will win awards. What I expect out of all comic book movies. This movie didn't live up to that for me.

So, what's bad about it? The acting? The plot?

And not ALL dudes hate love stories either. I dig love movies, especially the Frenchie and Spanish ones that have gratuituous nudities.

I get to see boobages and score points with the honeys.

I think he farmed it out, to another director. There was no butseks involved and The Hulk didn't tip-toe on any tree limbs.

As to 'depth': When my friends and I go to a movie, they always ask me which Akira Kurosawa film THIS movie was stolen from.
