I drove by the Victory dealer today and they were having a ride day, so I pulled up on the bus. Everyone just stared at me like I was dancing on the head of a russian bear riding a unicycle.

I checked out the bikes, and thought the styling was bland, but the paint was beautiful on every Victory they had there. After 5 minutes of wandering around the bikes and shop, I got back on the bus and rode off. Nobody spoke to me once.

I know the feeling, which is why I was seriously looking at cruisers. With the fact I have to ride on some dirt roads, the V-strom seems to make more sense, still has the upright position, yet allows me to get some hard cornering in if I want it, with just enough quickness to feed the adrenaline desire sometimes.
Honestly, I would probably get more use out of a cruiser at this point. But, I'll never sell that Buell. It's just too much fun to ride. I do hope to get to the track once this year though.

And trust me, I can turn it up when I want to. It's not like I forgot how to ride fast, I just choose not to. I've got scuffed knee pucks on my leathers...which I dont wear very often.

No joke, this guy makes quick work of pavement when he's on the hiway. Rider, bring a tow strap.

Not us, we had a hot blonde chatting us up immediately upon arrival.

Reflective/nonreflective? USA48 or USA + Canada? If nonreflective, what color border (black/white/gray) Reflective only comes in white right now.

Most people wont keep up. Sure the Buell, and sportbike whatever can go faster but let's see who makes it to the end of the 500 mile trip first.
