No not this time. Going bigger. Thinking about getting into Schutzhund training. I originally was thinking I wanted a Belgian Malinois. However after going to a training session the other weekend and being around several of them I "think" they are just too hyper/energetic to have in the house. Thinki of a 60-70 lb. Jack Russell !! Now admittedly I was looking at working lines and not just pet quality.

I am considering German Shepherds and Rottweilers and leaning toward the Rotti since they have shorter hair and usually a docked tail. I've owned a couple of Rottis in the past so I know a little about them.

I do want a German bloodline or real close to it if I go with the GSD or Rotti with a Schutzhund heavy pedigree.

The Belgian Malinois is an amazing dog and the ones I saw were training for French Ring Sport and Mondio Ring Sport competition and most people there thought Schutzhund was boring.
