You can go into system settings and see what is using what percentage of the battery. The screen is always No1.

And don't forget with a Droid phone you can upgrade the battery and have a spare ready to go.

Sure, but who wants to carry around 2 batteries? Not me. I'm also not a big fan of hanging a big fat battery off the back of my phone for more battery life.

I'm guessing the crazy battery drain comes mostly from really heavy users. Playing music isn't that demanding. It's the heavy data usage stuff that really knocks it down. It'll do that to the iPhone as well.

I carry an extra laptop battery almost everywhere, so I don't think I'd mind carrying an extra cellphone battery seeing as how it's about the size of a matchbook.

iPhone is still somewhat inferior when it comes to actual phone calling abilities. Not to mention that AT&T's network sucks compared to Verizon, IMO.

Some people would be better off buying an iPad or netbook, and then a basic $20 or pre-paid phone.

Bigger capacity batteries don't always have the larger door. I have one for my incredible and it uses the stock door. The battery is tiny. I can keep it anywhere in case of emergency.

Steve Jobs had to ask everyone at the iphone 4 unveiling to stop surfing the web so he could show the features of the new iphone because of the suck radio/network. He asked for suggestions to help him get on the network and someone yelled out "Verizon." LOL

Talk about funneh.

The iPhone is a nice phone. Now that Android has some serious contenders going, Apple's biggest bottleneck is going to be AT&T.

Did you see that Sprint is imposing a $10 monthly fee for all EVO users? Why? Oh, just because.

If I could switch carriers right now, I'd probably spring for the Droid Incredible on Verizon.

Has anyone been able to compare the iPod functionality on the iPhone to Android's media player? I keep hearing the media player kind of blows.
