IMO, most places use 250s cuz they're cheap to maintain and crash well. most are donated by dealers so schools take what they can get.
in TX, you can ride your own bike in the basic class. as long as it passes a safety inspection and you have ins. on it. and you sign a waiver. do i recommend it, NO.

In most cases, yes. But not when the other viewpoint is ignorance, or goes against common sense, for the sake of creating an argument. My viewpoint is skydiving without a parachute is dangerous. Do you want to show off your "KNOWLEDGE" and defend the other view?
