hahahaha... what kind of fruitcake sings lollipop in their helmet?!?

I also often force myself to relax with long slow breaths when riding hard, which would probably sound creepy as fuck to other riders

Points taken.

I guess most of the rides I do with other people we'll rip a road we like a couple times, get some food, trek over to another road, rip it a bit, etc.... so it's not like we're ever riding for that long at once without a stop sign to check on people and such.

The safety or heads up thing makes some sense OSP... however I never ride in groups large enough that the rear person wouldn't be able to see the front group. Usually it's 4 or 5 of us at the most... when I come upon something I kick out a foot to give people a heads up if there's sand or whatever.

If we have "unknowns" in the group it's an automatic signal that this isn't going to be a speed run. The ride immediately drops about 25% in intensity just to keep everyone together, safe, and relaxed.

Rides become boring, tedius, and lame when you have to stand around waiting for the ambulance to arrive and then later for the wrecker.

Now you haven't ridden until you are working to catch Barker backing it into corners in the rain whiffing your own processed burrito platter.
so our first ride was at 25%?
we need another ride, that one was entertaining...

it has two modes, push to talk and voice activated. So it could do as CEO states and as you state.

Haha... it was on the last day of a 2000+ mile trip, the long freeway part home, I was singing anything to keep that fucin Night court theme song out of my head, which I had been singing in my helmet for the previous 1500

I also catch myself screaming the "I wanna be an airborne ranger, I want to fly the skies of danger" thing in my helmet too a lot, like the guy runnin down the halls in Breakfast Club.

I am the same way, I always have the dumbest songs stuck in my head during long rides. I forget what the song was on the indy trip, but it was really annoying me.
