2003 Buell Lightning XB9S Low + extras $4,000 OBO Wilton, IA
We're in the process of saving for a bigger and better house and need to sell this. It's been a great bike for me and we hate to get rid of it but we have to. We do intend to have Buells back in the stable whether Erik starts making street bikes again or not.... Here are the details and some pics.
This is a package deal. It's all or nothing. $4,000 O.B.O. You will have to come pick it up or arrange for it to be picked up once we have cash in hand. - One owner: 2003 Buell XB9S Low with 16,411 Miles. Besides wear from years of riding, only two areas of the bike are worth mentioning. 1. the Jardine bracket is slightly bent from catching it on something. 2. There is a scrape on the lower faring from a track day. Andy didn't have the front suspension hard enough while in full lean and it dragged on the ground. - Mods: K&N Air Filter under an open airbox. Jardine Aluminum Exhaust XOPTI Tuned ECM; tuned for smooth acceleration, not power. Shortened front Turn Signals LED tail light Bar end mirrors Pazzo levers Polished rear Sprocket Diamond Plate points cover Extras: 2 Pair of Stock Mirrors 2 extra red tail light lenses 1 clear tail light lens Full Pazzo Front brake lever and spare parts for the clutch Pair of Rear turn signals Buell Bike Cover (only used twice) Buell Full Rain Suit (Maybe used 3 times) Corbin Seat (in excellent condition) standard seat is on bike Direct Link ECM software with USB cable and ECM Key Spare Stock Sprocket 2 Buell tail bags 2 pair Buell saddle bags Stock Airbox cover Box of other spare Buell parts. Factory Service Manual Slightly used Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3 Front tire Slightly used Bridgestone rear tire Many of the miles are long distance miles including our ride from Iowa to Deals Gap and back and also a ride through Yellowstone NP in Wyoming. See Video of me on the Dragon with this bike. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SA26SlYDNc Here's a bunch of photos. http://www.chandajane.com/XB9SL/ If interested, please PM me or email me at chanda@chandajane.com Thanks! Too far away. Plus, I might be trading my Firebolt to a guy for his Lightning soon. But thanks. GL.

Not sure if the XB levers fit on the 1125. When I ordered mine, the part # was the same as the ZX 10.

I won't be removing the Pazzo levers currently on the bike. I have a fully functioning Pazzo brake lever, but the clutch lever is just parts. Sounds like they won't fit your 1125R though. I'd really like to get rid of everything as a package deal if possible. Thanks!

Oh, Chanda! I am sorry you have to sell your bike. You've always talked about how much you like it...
Good luck with the sale, though, and good luck replacing it soon. (I'm in the same boat and recently had to sell my bike... I am super bummed but you do what you gotta do!) |
