Cigar Peeps!
I just bought this humidifier for my husband's himdor and I think they gave me the wrong kind. Does this one have to be standing to work? His humidor is not that tall.
They were out of the one that lays down and has the vents along the side, so he told me I could get this one at the same price. I don't want to put water in it and then lay it down and it spill in the humidor. Help? |

Whoa there chief, easy with the freak button... You shoulda asked me.
YES! Its fine it will not spill! Those are humidifier crystals that release the proper humidity, fill it with water, let it set till "dry" and keep in humidor. BTW if you know what your husband likes, hit me up, I have about 300ish sticks in my inventory in storage and a few in my humidor I can give you if hes got similar tastes. |

I like to throw a candela in every now and then just to mix it up, but I prefer EMS and maduros most of the time. I'll let Tye handle the recommendations.

Okay, we got it figured out. I am just glad I wasn't just a big girl and bought the wrong thing.
He said he likes Maduros and shorter lengths like toros or coronas. You should all be very proud that I listened enough to hear that. |

If you want a few, just remind me someday and I'll throw a few in a baggie. My "stock" needs to be rotated rather soon. |

I'm not a huge cigar fan, but I am hoping to get my hands on a real Cuban while I'm here.

If you are anywhere in Europe, you should have a fine chance. Sweden is actually the biggest importers of Cubans. However I gotta warn you, wherever there's real cubans, there's plenty of knockoff imitations too. Make sure you visit a reputable cigar shop, if you see the Cuban boxes, make sure there's an authentic hologram seal of legitimacy(seen several in Mexico that wouldn't even pass for fakes they were so bad) other than that, they'll most likely carry a very big price tag as well. Good luck and enjoy! |
