Default Weekend Project - A new kitchen sink

It started out that our kitchen sink and faucet were leaking. We could have fixed it, but Erik and I never liked either so we decided to buy new. We bought it last weekend and just left it until this weekend to install.

Saturday rolls around, we pull the old sink out and counters are fairly cleared off. Now that we have this nice sink and faucet we are thinking new counter tops would be nice, and now is the time. We go back to Lowe's find some pre-made/cut countertops we like.

Sunday we install our new countertops, sink, and faucet. For the most part it was pretty easy.

Feels pretty damn good when you finish a task like this.

he didnt put in a footwarmer at the base of the sink for you? Thats why women have small feet, so they can stand closer to the stove/sink.

Nice...

Even though you have now reminded me that I need to redo our kitchen.

Thanks. We have done quite a bit of work ourselves with this house. (You might recall the bathroom tiling job I did last summer.) It can be a bitch but in the end it is nice to sit back and think, WE did this... not someone else. Also makes you take better care of it.

No footwarmer, Apoc. That is what my dogs or moccasins are for

Sorry pauldun

Sure, but you better hope that Erik made it. I wouldn't know how much coffee to put with the water... I do know directions on the coffee aren't even close to what typically used.

That's what I was thinking - it looks really great! Huge difference

I now can't watch any DIY channels for fear that I will take a sledgehammer to my kitchen
