NC Dealer doesn't think gear is necessary
http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=19752.0
While I don't want to give him any free publicity, I do think he should atleast be portraying an image for new riders to look up to since he's a dealer... Anyone know any ways to knock some sense into him? Mods... feel free to move to the Gear section if you prefer |

My favorite is still the '05 Repsol. Only $16,500!

I dont think its as uncommon as you may think...i know a local place here in town and while they sell gear, Ive never heard or seen them promote it in the least and most of their employees go gearless...

yeah the 16.5 repsol is funny... guess that chrome is expensive. especially since they have a regular 1krr thats a year newer for half the price...
he and i argued back and forth through email yesterday before i eventually gave up... be basically said that he prays and Jesus is is savior so he doesnt need gear since he's prepared to move on... |

The graces of God don't help when the nurses have to scrub the asphalt out of your wounds.
I'm all for everyone wearing what they feel is appropriate gear. Sometimes I squid it, so I don't preach. However, I think it is a poor business decision to advertise yourself as a reckless fool with bad form. |

I dont try to convert people to gear, if they are dumb enough to not protect themselves, one less dumbass we have to worry about on the road.
