Default Anyone Use Quicken for Finances?

Just pondering.

I noticed turbo tax was letting you try it free and while I didn't see any catches my immediate thought was to see what others thought of it.

I am pretty good at keeping up with everything but with my upcoming move and various new expenses and incomes I thought it might be to my advantage to get involved in something like this.

Thoughts?

Thanks

I've used it. If its for personal use and your bank can transfer the files over to it, its great. Now if you start getting technical with expenses and something, say small businesses, it can get a little hairy.

Yeah this would be all for personal expenses. Do you still use it or did you stop for some reason?

I just dont use it because I dont really need it. I liked it when I did use it tho, and being able to upload my bank statements and Quicken check them against my own entries was super helpful in balancing for me as well as taking care of items I hadnt entered. Worth trying at least if you get it free.

Their products are SOLID. I used Quicken for a short period of time - and have since used Quickbooks [the upper end version].

LOVE them.

Awesome, Azoom and Rae love it.

Gonna go ahead and set it up unless someone comes on here talking about how Quicken burned down their village, raped their wives and enslaved their kids.

I've used quicken since about 1988 or so. It's a nice compliment to what you can do on your banks bill pay site(or at least my banks site...).
