Define great mileage..

I get on avg 180kms to a tank of fuel. I have the slightly smaller tank as opposed to the Ss.

I've seen a little over 200 before the light came on, but I did a bit of highway to get that. So, anywhere from 110-120 to a tank.

When they claim I should be getting low 60s to high 50s, and I'm getting low to mid 40s, it pisses you off a bit. Then you realize, you could ride it like a granny and get those numbers. But, we all know that's no fun.

from what I've heard you can flog the shit out of it and get mid to high 40's for MPG...

on a 3.8 gal tank you should be getting 150 miles per tank if you got 40mpg... so 180 Kms seems a bit low...

if you get under 150 MILES per tank... then fuck it... that tank is too small for my type of riding... I hate having to stop every damn hour and a half. and hate to always have to plan where i'm gonna be so I can stop and get gas...

the 1125R has a 5gal tank and should get mid 40's according to some people with the new fueling fixes... so that's 200 miles per tank...

The 9's and 12's get better mileage than the 1125's. I regularly get 45-50MPG on my 12 and I'm not gentle. I'm also a big bastard on a heavy bike.

I usually get 160-170 miles before the reserve light comes on. I then have another 25-30 miles before the tank's dry.

The 1125 gets low 40's now with the new fuelling.

It ain't a Super Chicken tank that's for sure.

but the 1125R also holds a galon and a half more should make 200 at low 40's mpg. probably 170 when the light comes on...
