RIP Anita. I hope they nail that dumb bitch to the wall. It's one thing to accidentally take someone out but painting your nails?! WTF?

Suppose she had hit Sally on her bicycle on her way to school...do you think there would be any hesitation about charges?

ralistically, yes. they only have vehicular homicide charges and such if your on the bottle or the pipe. if your sober and just a plain idiot the most she will get will probably be a citation for inattentive driving. it happens all the time.
if thye find anything in her urine or blood then she will get nailed.

Screw that. At the very least it's negligent homicide.

I don't really see much difference between driving drunk, and painting your goddamn fingernails behind the wheel. Both show an utter lack of concern for the safety of others.

I'd be happy if her license was permanently revoked, but sadly, once her lawyer gets done explaining how the "nice christian lady feels just awful" it probably won't even come to that.

Keep an eye on your mirrors at intersections people, there's a lot more where she came from.
