Thumbs up 2013 Modern Classics Motorcycle show (pic heavy)

Another fantastic show at Martin Motosports in Boyertown PA

Quite a few unique bikes including an Islo. I was taking with the chairman of the committee that selected the cycles for the show and the owner of the Islo asked if they would be interested in showing his Islo. The guy said they needed more info. Nobody on the committee ever heard of them. Turned out they made exactly FOUR of that model and only two survived. I guess that's pretty rare

Here's my pics from todays show, enjoy

I've got a buddy with this EXACT scooter. He spent $6500 in restoration of it last year. He rides it about once a month thru my neighborhood. He could double as Chuck Norris' brother and he's built like a tank...so no worries about looking like a fairy on it

Some beautiful machines there. I love vintage bikes.

I've missed the Harvest Classic Vintage rally in Luckenbach for the last two years in a row.. here's to hoping I don't have to work this year so I can attend (bad enough I have to be in fucking Oklahoma for annual training during Moto GP).

It would be fun to have the Suzuki RG500 just for the smell of two-stroke oil on some twisty roads. But I really like the look of the Eddie Lawson Replica. Although I think Kawasaki also made some in 1100 and 1200cc's.
