Default Got new boots, they already have been tested

Well, yesterday got my boots. Decided that I would wear them to break them in when Cutty, Ebbs and I went out riding tonight. Soooooo, we were riding and I was going to take a corner to ride into a small town for gas. I slowed down to turn into the corner and smash, crash, boom....... I went down. Myside is scraped up. My knee is too. My visor popped off my helmet. Cutty will probably add more in here too. The frame slider that was on the bike snapped so didn't really do any good. Bikes not to bad, scratches down the side, broken tuen signal, and broke the shifter off. My head hurts some right now and my muscles are really sore.. But I am just glad it wasn't worse. I bought ontwo's boots and they held up great. Pretty sure my leg would have been worse had i not had them on.
Ebbs took pictures of the bike. I don't think that we have any of my road rash.

Any idea what caused it? What frame sliders did you have on the bike?

Glad you are alright, welcome to the club of those that have.

The highway wasn't highway. It was highway with the chippings gravel. So yeah. Tires came out from under me and down i went.
Cutty will fill you in on the frame sliders.... I have no idea.

It had Lockhart Phillips sliders on it. after seeing that JUNK!!

So... on order for the SV
-New shift lever
-Left side turn signal
-Sliders

That gets it rideable again. Other than that just cosmetic damage. Scratched up fairings and mirror, scratches on the bar end and clutch lever, and the grip is a bit tore up, but no big deal.

Like comonboys said, there was a bunch of gravel over the entire corner, we were riding into the sun and it kinda blended in with the highway. She was just the (un)lucky one that was leading the pack. I realized it was gravel as she was deep into it, managed to stand the bike back up. Ebbs saw me stand it up and kinda veered off. She was too far into it to really do anything about it. Learning experience and no major damage/injuries.

On the plus side, her JR textile jacket took it like a champ, a bit dirty but no tears!

I'm uploading my pics right now to my computer... but didn't get any of the crash side.. (figured I'd wait to see what kinda mood Common boys was in before I started imortalizing her pavemnet surfing) my camera died after only a couple pics... but I'll see what I have in a bit...

to be honest... not much you could have done Nicole... yeah maybe not take the corner that hot... but with the sun where it was... it was damn near impossible to see that gravel. and who'd have thunk turning off a paved road on to a paved road there'd be 3" deep gravel in the middle of the turn?!

those Lockhart Phillips sliders are JUNK... can't see them as being usefull in ANY sort of off at speed... parking lot dumps may be ok... but don't waste your money... get some others...

If you want full fairings at some point, R&G no cuts work great. The bracket is not like any other no cut on the market and quite effective. If you want naked sliders, motosliders. Motosliders if you want cut full fairing.

I have a bunch of SV parts left over. I will dig it out and get you a list of what I have if you need any of it.

yeah shit... none of those pics turned out for shit... as it was into the sun.

here's one to give you an idea of the gravel there... the gravel in front of my bike and cutty's 1125r is less than what was in the middle of the road

Yeah, you need 50/50 tires for that road. And that would be one of the few times you will see me use the rear brake.
