Overworked, yet still relevant...

"This is my reflective belt. There are many like it but this one is mine. My reflective belt is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my reflective belt is useless. Without my reflective belt I am useless. I must wear my reflective belt. My reflective belt makes me luminous to my enemy, who is trying to kill me. Before God I swear this creed: my reflective belt and myself are defenders of my country, we are the masters of my enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen."

I mother fucking HATE reflective belts!!!!!!!!!!

BUT, while here, we have "belted" a NTV, a HMMWV, a Bradley, a Blackhawk (that was touchy), a goat, a dog, and a group of kids at a school!

When I was on Camp Doha, Kuwait in 02 they didn't make anyone wear belts unless they were actually running (exercising) though I wouldn't have run over there in 130F unless someone was shooting at me and that didn't happen while I was there There was a Navy medic with our unit that would run in the middle of the damn afternoon over there, when I could barely sit in the shade without passing out, but he was one serious badass without any attitude. I think he was the one truely dangerous individual in our unit and I sure wouldn't have ever picked a fight with him though I out weighed him by 60lbs or so. We got talking and hanging out a little after I was there for a while and he had worked with SEALS and other spec ops units before and then I knew I'd read him right. At least if he messed you up it was his job to fix you afterward

I like how you pay close attention to warning signs Fred
