For The Gun Folks
Just ordered one of these (as a Christmas present to myself) and thought I'd post the link for anyone interested. Nice price for a Mosin Nagant 91/30. I'm going to drop it in one of these stocks and add a scope for a cheap hunting rifle.

If the bore is good, she'll do OK. But the big question is whether or not she's American-made or Russian-made. Remington used to make a whole shitload of Moisins for the Czar army before the commies took over.

Maybe a few Izhevsk's in there. Personally, I wouldn't mind picking up one of the Finnish Nagants (maybe M39), but those are getting more rare and seem to command a higher price. Speaking of the bore, I need to slug mine and see what the actual diameter is. It'll help me find a decent bullet for reloading. Quote:
(or it did before I slapped a Limbsaver on that bad boy) It may be a little like putting lipstick on a pig, but I like the full stock better than the aftermarket offerings.

I like my wood stock on my yugo sks. I hear the plastics make the rifle less controllable since it weighs less. Plus there's only one aftermarket stock I would some what consider for my sks.

My 91/30 is a Fin re-arsenal that I picked up a couple years ago, so I may be a bit biased about the original stock... not sure what the re-finish quality on the current batch is like.
