Default Lunar Eclipse tonight?

Believe there is one tonight. Some one get some nice shots with their fancy smancy DSLR camera. Too cloudy here.

Yes first time since 1600's.

And first time ever on the same night as winter solstice.

bright moon with misty clouds here, nothing yet supposed to see 'something' like a penumbra or a labia majora about 1:20 ish.

But whats really freaking me out is something walking just past the tree line. Could be deer. Could be a possum. Could be Underworld III Rise of the Lycans. Just saying.

Figured a way to dim the light off the moon with my camera so it can take a clear shot instead of a bright dot. Yea!. Full eclipse wont be there until 3am I think. Guess I'll set my alarm.
