installing grips
its been forever since I did this and am installing a set of renthall grips on the gsxr. The left side went on just by twisting/forcing it on. Are there any tricks to install the grip over the throttle tube. Got a TD on monday so I dont want to start forcing it and break anything before I go.

you *did* remember to check which grip had the big hole right? lots of hairspray usually works as a temporary lube to slide it on

This is what I do. The hair spray dries and works like glue. Cheapest stuff you can find.

Ive used a little soap and a lot of water to success in a pinch. I think we did that with phenixs bike at indy.
