Default Triple compund bridgestones

Anyone Tried em? I think its the BT016

It is. I just put em on my bike but only have about 15 or 20 miles on them. Then I got sick and now theres snow on the ground again. I PMd dlit and he seems to like his so far. When looking for reviews, I did find that theres 2 different versions of that tire. Theres an oem version that I think is only dual compound on the back and arent supposed to be nearly as good and then the aftermarket one that is triple in the rear that I found a ton of good reviews on.

I have one on the rear...have about 400 miles on it, but I'm in the land of the straight roads.

They came stock on my GSXR750. They were ok. They took longer to warm up compared to PP's. Once they were warm they had decent grip, you just have to be careful the first few miles. They did well in the rain.

They are highly rated. Bike (UK) just did a big sportbike tire review (street and some track) and they came in second out of six tires tested. Pilot Power 2CT's came in first, but I think for 99% of mortals the diff would be negligible.

I have a few hundred miles on mine now and I really like the front,the jury is still out on the rear tho'. I'm getting a little unusual slippage exiting corners. In the tires defense,I have also just re-sprung my bike front and rear so that could have something to do with it. I'm thinking about getting the BT002 RS tires from Bridgestone and ditching these. In case you don't know Cycle Sector has either the BT016s or BT002RSs for $239 shipped a set with a 180 rear and about $250 with 190/50 or 55 rear.

I saw that exact same complaint from one other guy who was using them on the track on a gsxr 750 and really pushing it. He said theyd slip under hard acceleration out of some corners.

Yea and the thing is it's not like the Pirellis which will spin up...these are sudden slips...if you follow me and kind of unpredictable. I'm not sure yet if it's just at the transition between compounds or what yet...I'm still "beta-testing" right now. I'm almost for sure gonna get either the Rossos or the BT002RS tires before the rally. The Pirellis are about the same money so
