I cant believe what I *heard on tv this morning...
So I had the Daily Show on(comedy central, how appropriate) and was getting ready for work aka on the thrown with a deuce.
I swear it wasn't 10seconds into picking up the latest Motorcyclist to read about the next cruiser concept did I hear... "Are you ready to survive mankind after the disaster?" And I thought, I survive every day WITH mankind, sure! Well after like a 20-30sec speech on the 2012 end of the world, I heard there was to be a special lottery(much like in the movie DeepImpact) and you should SIGN UP NOW! If I seriously hadn't already been sitting on the thrown, I would've shat myself from laughing so hard. Here's the website listed in the commercial, I tried finding the commercial itself but instead found a better youtube clip at the bottom of this post. http://www.instituteforhumancontinuity.org/ Here's a Youtube clip which debunks their horseshit in that it's all promotion for their new movie "2012". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjoq-dyc2kc All I can say is... ENJOY! |

You mean that part at the end of the ad that says, "This film has not yet been rated" didn't tip you off? hahaha

The constant disclaimers all the way through Orson Welles' broadcast of War of the Worlds on Hallowe'en 1938 didn't stop people from panicking either, now did they?

HAHA I just saw the commercial...
Well as stated above, I just heard itearlier. This time I did see the clips from 2012 in it and the "Columbia pictures" and "film not yet rated" fine print before and after the "IHC" parts. I can understand the attempt at using emotion to see a movie, but going about it that way isn't what I would call optimal. That's similar to Resident Evil flicks. |
