My guesses would be......
1.) you're building muscle at a quicker rate than you're dropping fat, so while the scale isn't moving, you're body IS changing. 2.) I need to find it, but R1chica once sent me this great blog post from one of the Beach Body trainers, about how when you change up (or start anew) your workout routine, for the first couple weeks, you may actually see a 3-4 lb INCREASE on the scale, as your muscle retain fluid to heal. Take about 2 weeks for the body to adjust to the new routine. There's more to it than that, but that's the gist of it. Also, is it posdible you've cut your calories too much (in light of the kickin butt at the gym) to where your body us kicking into conservation mode? |

Even cutting your calorie count by a third may not be enough to drop weight (depending on what your caloric intake was before).
Figure out what you need based on your height/weight/gender/age and go from there. Stick to eating in that range and get a good variety of veggies, lean protein, and the like. |
